     Elizabeth Hanna Taylor was born in 1907 at Waltham Abbey, co Essex, England.2 She married 1st Richard Myrick Rice, son of Milledge Rice and Eva Fowler Hatt, on 1 September 1945 at Saint John, Saint John Co, NB.3 Elizabeth Hanna Taylor died in 1967.2
     She was also known as Elizabeth Tailer.4 Her married name was Rice.

     Miranda Taylor was born on 26 March 1801.4,3 She married Lyman Rice, son of Col Alvan Rice and Mary Clapp, on 2 June 1824; Miranda of Chesterfield.1,2,3 Miranda Taylor died on 14 January 1840; (this date is clearly wrong, since she was living in 1880 - maybe there was a daughter Miranda who died in 1840.)3
     Her married name was Rice. She and Lyman Rice resided between 1824 and 1870 at Chesterfield, MA.4 Miranda Taylor appeared on the census of 1880 at Chesterfield, MA; with her son Washington.5

     Ann Teed married John Haines Saxton, son of John Saxton and Margaret Haines.2 Ann Teed was born circa 1803 at Nova Scotia.2,1 She was the daughter of Samuel Teed and Mary McDormand. Ann Teed died on 28 November 1871 at Port Rowan, ON.2 She died on 2 February 1875; in her 73rd year.3
     Her married name was Saxton. She and John Haines Saxton resided in May 1822 at Bayham Twp, Elgin Co, ON, on the east 1/2 of lot 8, Concession 2 which John purchased from Samuel Edison. This farm was later known as the Cookson place.1 Ann Teed and John Haines Saxton resided after 1847 at Port Rowan, Norfolk Co, ON.1

Samuel Teed was christened on 22 September 1791 at Petite Passage, Digby Co, NS.2 He married Mary McDormand, daughter of James McDormand and Anna Rice, before 1803.2 Samuel Teed died on 24 June 1863 at Bayham Twp, Elgin Co, ON.2,1 He was buried after 24 June 1863 at Bayview Cemetery, Port Rowan, ON.1

The marriage license included: Wilbur Parker, age 59, widower, farmer, residence Hillsburgh, born Granville, son of Abedengo and Lucy Parker, and Helen Arabella Rice, age 36, widow, residence Hillsburgh, daughter of Richard and Mary Telfer.2

     Mildred Gertrude Thomas was born on 14 November 1883 at Nova Scotia, 4 October 1883 according to the 1901 Canada census.1,2 She was the daughter of William Henry Thomas and Ida Laura Rice.1 Mildred Gertrude Thomas married Seldon Samuel Gaines on 25 September 1915.1 Mildred Gertrude Thomas died on 31 May 1947.1
     Her married name was Gaines. She resided in April 1901 at Hillsburgh District, Digby Co, NS, with her parents.2 She and Seldon Samuel Gaines appeared on the census of 1920 at Ward 5, Somerville, MA; as Samuel S. Gaines.3

     Miriam Jane Thomas was born on 3 October 1843 at Nova Scotia, according to the 1901 Canada census.4 She married Nelson Rice, son of Captain John Rice and Leah Crousse, in June 1865 at Digby County, NS; license issued 10 June, returned 17 June 1865.2

     Nina Maude Thomas was born on 19 December 1881 at Nova Scotia.3,1 She was the daughter of William Henry Thomas and Ida Laura Rice.2 Nina Maude Thomas married 1st Peter Andrew Johnson on 19 December 1900.1 Nina Maude Thomas married 2nd LeRoi Cadwallader Slack on 10 December 1918; your authors note that the marriage date is suspect.1 Nina Maude Thomas died on 16 July 1969 at California.1,4
