John Rice was of the Parish of Hillsburgh and Armanella Ruggles was of the Parish of Clements.5 Armanella Ruggles died on 9 April 1872 at Bear River, NS; at age 37, of consumption.6,3 She was buried on 11 April 1872 at Saint John's Church Cemetery, Bear River, Annapolis Co, NS.7
