     Alban Ernest Riley was born on 14 September 1913 at Virginia East, NS.1 He was the son of John Riley and Alice Margaret Trimper.1 Alban Ernest Riley married 2nd Seretha Dora Rice, daughter of Forman LeClair Rice and Hannah Sheriffs, on 13 August 1941 at Montreal, QC.1 Alban Ernest Riley died on 15 August 1990 at Middleton, Annapolis Co, NS.1 He was buried at Bear River, NS.1
     He was a watchmaker.1 He locally known as 'Gaby' for a period of at least 20 years as he entertained both the kids and adults who came into his shop with the latest gossip, or when gossip was slow, stories on whatever topic came to mind. Many of the stories tended to be stretched to the limit and not infrequently his listeners left wondering if they just might be true.

Although there is a gravestone in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River, NS memorializing his death, he was buried at La Chaudiere Military Cemetery, Vimy, Pas de Calais, France, grave reference IV. E. 15.3,6

     Dr. Ernest F. Robinson was born in February 1870 at Harrisburg, PA.1,2 He married Osilda V. Dupuy on 28 June 1893 at Marlborough, MA; aged 23y (he) and 20y (she) listed as Ernest of Truro and Osilda of Marlborough.3 Dr. Ernest F. Robinson died before 1940.
