Reuben D Potter married Sarah Dyer Gilliatt, daughter of John Gilliatt, on 24 January 1850. Potter and Chute genealogies say that Reuben and Sarah had seven children. Therefore, Charles Potter seems suspect. Note that he was not mentioned in Reuben Potter's will in 1883.4 Reuben D Potter was buried at Clementsvale Baptist Cemetery, Clementsvale, Annapolis Co, NS.5 He died on 29 July 1883 at Clements, Annapolis Co, NS.6
