     She was also known as Sarah Margaret Ingraham.10,5 She and Robert Muckford Rice resided between 1830 and 1838 at Northeast Margaree, Inverness Co, NS. They joined the Baptist church there in 1835.3 Sarah Maria Ingraham and Robert Muckford Rice resided after 1838 at Little Bras d'Or, Cape Breton Co, NS. They joined the Upper North Sydney Baptist Church by letter of transfer on 15 November 1838.3 Sarah Maria Ingraham and Robert Muckford Rice appeared on the census of 1881 at Ball's Creek District, Cape Breton Co, NS; Robert Rice, male, married, age 75, born Nova Scotia, occ: farmer;

Purdy, on 19 December 1840.1 Elizabeth Evans Jefferson died on 22 January 1876 at Clementsvale, Annapolis Co, NS.4 She was buried at Clementsvale Baptist Cemetery, Clementsvale, Annapolis Co, NS.5
     She and Anthony Potter resided between 1861 and 1871 at Clementsport, Annapolis Co, NS. Wayne Walker reports: The 1861 census Anthony Potter was listed as a married male age 40 to 50 years and his wife was age 30 to 40 years. They had seven children listed: three females age 15 to 20 years; one male and one female age 10 to 15 years; one female age 5 to 10 years; one male age 4 to 5 years and one male age 2 to 3 years

     On 31 December 1820 Robert and Sarah Jefferson sold to John Lent lot no. 5 on the south side of the Hessian Line Road, slightly east of Bear River. This lot of 100 acres was purchased for 70 pounds.3 He left a will on 29 January 1875 at Clements, Annapolis Co, NS, which was recorded 14 Jun 1876: LWT of Robert Jefferson of Clements, children: George H.E., Abigail Strong wife of C.D. Strong, James E., Robert J., Charles C. and Caroline E. Potter wife of Anthony Potter. Granddaughter: Sarah Louisa Campbell.2
