     A Nelson Harris purchased 27 March 1845 lot 15, con 8 in Malahide,100 acres, for 10 S per acre. This was sold to Warren Davis for £160 13 Feb1846. On 25 Feb of that year he witnessed at Aylmer the assignment of 110 acres of land from Harrison Thompson to Jonathan Thompson.2

     On 31 December 1820 Robert and Sarah Jefferson sold to John Lent lot no. 5 on the south side of the Hessian Line Road, slightly east of Bear River. This lot of 100 acres was purchased for 70 pounds.2

Your author has taken her family name to be Hatt, per Ms McCormick, that she was the sister of Eva Fowler Hatt and was born in Patten, Piscataquis Co, ME. The Annapolis County marriage record is quite clear that the name is Hatt.3,4,5

Hawksworth.2 Cassandra Hawksworth married Levi Rice, son of Levi Rice and Margaret Robinson, on 3 February 1867 at Trinity Anglican Church, Digby, Digby Co, NS; the marriage license stated: Levi Rice, age 27, bachelor, resident of Digby, son of Levi Rice and Cassandra Hawksworth, age 21, spinster, daughter of J S Hawksworth.4,1 Cassandra Hawksworth died on 24 January 1920 at Cass, ND.3
     She was also known as Satira Hawksworth.1 She and Levi Rice appeared on the census of 1900 at Tower, Cass Co, ND.5 Cassandra Hawksworth and Levi Rice appeared on the census of 1910 at Tower, Cass Co, ND.6 Cassandra Hawksworth and Levi Rice appeared on the census of 1920 at Tower City, Cass Co, ND.7
