     Edwin Godfrey Harris was baptized on 25 June 1843 at Parish of Clements, Clements, Annapolis Co, NS; by W M Godfrey.1 He was the son of Samuel Andrew Harris and Eliza Ruth Rice.1 Edwin Godfrey Harris married Louisa Cammell on 12 October 1865 at Clementsport, Annapolis Co, NS.2,3
     Edwin Godfrey Harris and Louisa Cammell resided in February 1871 at Victoria, NS. The place may have been mistranscribed from Victory.2 Edwin Godfrey Harris and Louisa Cammell appeared on the census of 1881 at Hessian Line District, Annapolis Co, NS; Edward Harris, male, married, age 38, born Nova Scotia, Occ: Farmer; Luisa J Harris, female, married, age 33, born Nova Scotia; William E Harris, male, age 11, born Nova Scotia; Eliza E Harris, female, age 6, born Nova Scotia; Edith M Harris, female, age 4, born Nova Scotia.4

Wheelock, son of Amariah Wheelock and Elizabeth Olds, before 1870.3 Eliza Jane Harris died on 1 January 1875.2

Taft and Nancy Turner, on 4 June 1913 at East Jaffrey, NH; aged 21y (he) and 20y (she) listed as Warren of Winchendon and Eliza of East Jaffrey.4,1

Francis Harris Jr1

     Francis Harris Jr was born circa June 1788.1 He married 2nd Rachael McDormand, daughter of James McDormand and Anna Rice, circa 1813.2 Francis Harris Jr died on 25 September 1847 at Ontario; at age 59 years, 3 months.1 He was buried at Estherville Cemetery, Bayham Twp, Elgin Co, ON.1
     Brian McDormand notes that Francis was of Little River (Yarmouth Co, NS). They moved to Port Burwell, ON, about 1830.2 He and Rachael McDormand resided after 1830 at Bayham Twp, Elgin Co, ON. They farmed the east 1/2 of lot 21 on the 3rd concession, 100 acres.1 In the 1842 Bayham census, the family members number 8, meaning that six of the children were on their own. As three girls were married, this leaves the possibility of 3 sons remaining in Nova Scotia.1 Francis Harris Jr left a will on 29 March 1847.1

George H Harris and Lalia Rice were both of Bear River, Parish of Clements.4,5 George Hettrick Harris died circa 1916.6

     Helen Augusta Harris was born on 30 January 1851 at Moschelle, Annapolis Co, NS.2 She was baptized on 6 July 1851 at Saint Lukes Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal, Annapolis Co, NS; by James Bartlett, Assistant Missionary.3 She married Wilbur Dunn Ryerson on 27 December 1870 at Moschelle, Annapolis Co, NS; by Rev W S Gray.2 Helen Augusta Harris died on 10 September 1919 at Bear River, NS.2 She was buried after 10 September 1919 at Bear River Cemetery, Bear River, NS.2
     She was also known as Ellen A Ryerson.4 Her married name was Ryerson. She and Wilbur Dunn Ryerson appeared on the census of 1881 at Hillsburgh District, Digby Co, NS; Wilber D Ryerson, male, married, age 34, born Nova Scotia, Occ: Farmer; Helen A Ryerson, female, married, age 28, born Nova Scotia; Harry C Ryerson, male, age 9, born Nova Scotia.5 Helen Augusta Harris and Wilbur Dunn Ryerson resided on 13 April 1891 at Hillsburgh District, Digby Co, NS.4

     Inez Blanche Harris was born on 26 March 1883 at Bear River, NS.2,3,1,4 She was the daughter of George Davis Harris and Myrtle Harriet Morgan.1 Inez Blanche Harris married Calvin Taylor Day, son of George Elam Day and Emma Elizabeth Lewis, on 6 November 1909 at Jaffrey, NH; aged 22y (he) and 26y (she) listed as Calvin of Winchenson and Ida of East Jaffrey.5 Inez Blanche Harris died on 2 March 1981 at Athol, MA; under the name Day.2
     Her married name was Day.      James Harris was born circa 1833, age 37 in the 1870 census.2,3 He was the son of Francis Harris Jr and Rachael McDormand.1 James Harris married Jerusha (?)2 James Harris married Ada (?)2
     He was apparently in Bayham; one of this name appears on lot 11, con 1 of Bayham in 1842 census; another on lot 7.2 He was presumably the one seen in the 1857 census for Twp 111, Le Sueur County, MN, was b c 1834, and m Jerusha, b c 1831, d 28 March 1860 aged 29 years, with burial in Mound Cemetery, Ottawa Twp, Le Sueur Co. In 1860 he is a farmer at Harrison, enumerated with Rachel Harris, 72, b "New Brunswick" and presumably his mother, but in 1865 it is apparently he and his family back in Le Sueur County, no ages given, but "Bell" is listed as a presumed wife. He m (2) Addey, b NY Jan 1835 [1900 census when with family of dau Rho]. "J. D." is seen at Harrison, Monongalia County, MN in 1870 when he is clerk of court and owned real estate. An Emmer b Ohio c 1856 is presumably Addey's child by a former marriage. James had the following known issue, 1st 4 by Jerusha and b in Canada, 3 buried with mother, last 4 by Addey.2 James Harris appeared on the census of 1860 at Harrison P O, Monongalia Co, MN; as J. D. Harris.4 He appeared on the census of 1870 at Harrison, Monongalia Co, MN; as J. D. Harris.3
