Purdy, on 23 December 1877 at Clementsport, Annapolis Co, NS.3 Sarah Wright died on 17 December 1888.4 She was buried at Clementsvale Baptist Cemetery, Clementsvale, Annapolis Co, NS.4

     Her married name was Reed. Kate T. Young and Samuel Stillman Reed immigrated in 1890 to USA.1 Kate T. Young appeared on the census of 1900 at Boston, MA; aged 36y, under the name Reed, declaring her only child to be alive.1
