     Lavinia Wilson was born on 4 March 1833 at West Paradise, Annapolis Co, NS.1,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Wilson and Mary (?).1 Lavinia Wilson married John Berry, son of William Berry and Elizabeth Rice.2 Lavinia Wilson married 2nd Abraham Lent, son of John Lent and Mary Rice, on 11 April 1884 at Hillsburgh, Digby Co, NS.4 Lavinia Wilson died on 20 February 1911 at Deep Brook, Annapolis Co, NS.1 She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River, Annapolis Co, NS.5
     She appeared on the census of 1881 at Marshall District, Digby Co, NS; Lovenia Berry, female, widowed, age 48, born Nova Scotia, Occ: Female Farmer; Aurtha Berry, male, age 17, born Nova Scotia, Occ: Farmer's Son; Joseph Berry, male, age 13, born Nova Scotia.6 On 3 September 1887 she sold a 50 acre lot to her son Arthur Berry. This lot was in the middle range of the Hatfield grant, Digby Co. The following year Arthur Berry was deeded the 45 acre lot on the main post road for $500, subject to a mortgage held by Joseph Wear of Clements.7 She and Abraham Lent appeared on the census of 8 April 1891 at Clements West District, Annapolis Co, NS; with Joseph and Ida Berry.8 Lavinia Wilson and Abraham Lent appeared on the census of April 1901 at Clements West District, Annapolis Co, NS.3
